Learn about the workshops from the youths perspectives!

Filmmaking Workshops: Youth are trained in filmmaking and storytelling techniques. During this time they will be exposed to a variety of films and videos and take local field trips to expand their knowledge and perception of their community. Youth will create a webisode series that explores their relationship to their community and landscape.

Aprenticeship Program: Youth will be placed in paid apprenticeships to key crew positions on a professional film set, collaboratively creating a short or feature film. Based on their interests youth will have the opportunity to work directly with the producer, director, cinematographer, hair and make-up, and behind the scenes documentary crew. Youth will gain hands on production experience that translates directly to their resumes as job experience. As the film gains exposure through festivals and distribution the youths knowledge, networks and resumes will grow stronger. Support the Apprenticeship Program
